50% of ISIS leadership killed, says U.S. Secretary of State

(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry announced, that the anti-ISIS coalition has made significant gains in the fight against the ISIS group, killing roughly 50 percent of its leadership.
In his speech at an international meeting in London, Kerry stated today, “Iraq and its international partners have made significant gains in the fight against the ISIS group, killing thousands of the group’s fighters and 50% of its leadership.”
Kerry also added Iraqi ground troops backed by roughly 2,000 air strikes had retaken 700 sq km of territory.
