(IraqiNews.com) On Saturday evening, the ISIS organization executed the second Japanese hostage, Kenji Goto.
International media shared a video footage published by ISIS showing the execution of the hostage Goto. The Japanese government announced it is seeking to check validity of the footage.
The video shows a masked man standing behind Goto, putting a knife to his neck, followed by a scene in which Goto’s head appeared separated from his body.
ISIS threatened the Japanese PM Shinzo Abe to kill more Japanese individuals.
Noteworthy, the terrorist organization has earlier threatened to execute the Japanese hostage Kenji Goto, and the Jordanian pilot Maaz al-Kassasbeh on Thursday, in case the prisoner to the Jordanian authorities Sajda Rishawi was not released, while the fate of the Jordanian pilot remains unknown.
